2015 Camporee

It's almost time for the 2015 Camporee event coming up April 10th - 12th. Camporee is a fun filled weekend of Boy Scout Troops, and their Webelos guests, competing in events that test their scouting skills and knowledge.

This year Camporee will be held at the Trevor Rees-Jones BSA Camp in Athens, TX, and Troop 1000 is sponsoring all 11 of our boys as guests!!!

If you are camping you will want to arrive Friday afternoon before dark to get set up. Troop 1000 will have a representative there to meet us and help us get settled before the Boy Scouts show up later in the evening. If you are coming Saturday plan to be there early so you don't miss the event.

Cost to participate is $13/boy plus food. All Webelos must be accompanied by a parent or designated guardian. Troop 1000 will handle the registration, so all we need to do is show up and pay our $13, plus whatever we bring for food. There are no camping fees as this is a Council owned camp.
