Rewards & Recognition

The most important values in Pinewood Derby competition are parent/son participation, good sportsmanship and learning how to follow rules. Everyone is responsible for recognizing and encouraging these qualities in addition to traditional racing awards.

Every participating Scout will receive a Pinewood Derby patch.

We will award places 1, 2 & 3 in all den races, the pack-level races, the sibling race and the maverick race and the derby-level race.

Additional awards may be made for various "appearance" categories.
